Debórah Dwork is the Rose Professor of Holocaust History and Founding Director of the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University. She is counted as a leading authority on university education in this field, as well as in her area of scholarly expertise: Holocaust history. Professor Dwork’s work includes Children With A Star: Jewish Youth in Nazi Europe, and her two books co-authored with Robert Jan van Pelt, Auschwitz and Flight from the Reich: Jewish Refugees, 1933-1946. As a member of IHRA, she serves on many advisory boards and works with non-profit organizations and foundations concerned with Holocaust education.
